Florida HIPPY (Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters) is an evidence-based, home visiting program that partners with parents of children ages two through five to help prepare parents and children for school success. The Florida HIPPY Training and Technical Assistance Center works with community agencies to build and support these HIPPY programs in Florida and monitors the quality of services provided.

The Florida HIPPY Training and Technical Assistance Center’s mission is to work with community agencies to build and support HIPPY programs in Florida, monitor the quality of services, provide training and technical assistance, and report the impact of HIPPY in Florida. The Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters (HIPPY) is identified as an evidence-based, home visiting program. Florida HIPPY Training & Technical Assistance Center is supported by funds from the State of Florida Department of Education’s Division of Early Learning, in collaboration with the University of South Florida, and some Florida HIPPY programs are funded from a State Legislative Appropriation or through a variety of local, state, or federal sources.
