REVEL’s team has completed extensive training in Safety and Wellness for young dancers, including comprehensive background checks for all faculty and staff and certification in CPR and First Aid.
Studio owners have described REVEL Dance Convention as professional and organized, with faculty who learn dancers’ names, give personal corrections, and create a nurturing but challenging environment in class. They have noted that judges’ critiques are beneficial, that event numbers do not feel too large, that dancers have space to dance, and that awards do not go past midnight. Studio owners have also reported that their dancers and parents continue to talk positively about REVEL after events and compare other events to it, and they have specifically mentioned staff members such as Christian, Frank, Duncan, and Derek in their feedback.
