Laura (Riding) Jackson Foundation Literary Programs offers writers groups, summer camps, workshops, and poetry festivals. The programs take place at the Writing Center and at the Historic Home & Pole Barn.

• Schedule: Writing Center open Monday–Friday, 10am–3pm; Historic Home & Pole Barn open to visitors the second Sunday of each month from Nov 9, 2025–Apr 12, 2026 and every Tuesday from Nov 11, 2025–Apr 28, 2026
The Laura (Riding) Jackson Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that is dedicated to preserving the author’s home and nurturing local writers of all ages through writers groups, summer camps, workshops, and poetry festivals. The foundation has been described as the literary heart of Indian River County since 1992. The organization is led by Executive Director Sara Wilson. It holds a Platinum Guidestar Seal. The foundation is located on the campus of Indian River State College–Mueller Campus.
