YWCO Youth Programs include fitness classes, swim lessons, after school and summer camp experiences, and aquatics classes such as water fitness classes, lap swim, open swim times, and learn to swim. The programs also connect with other YWCO offerings such as Girls Club, Summer Day Camp, Thrive, CPR and First Aid, lifeguard training, and water therapy.
• Schedule: Facility hours include options Monday–Friday and weekends, with weekday hours listed as either 6:00am–8:00pm or 6:00am–9:00pm, Saturday hours listed as either 8:00am–5:00pm or 8:00am–7:00pm, and Sunday hours listed as either 11:00am–5:00pm or 11:00am–7:00pm.
• Price: There are additional fees for personal trainers, Pilates Reformers, and swim lessons.
The YWCO serves the Athens community by providing programming options that teach new skills, increase self-confidence, build character, develop physical fitness, and promote healthy lifestyles. It offers a wide range of recreation activities for men and women, fitness classes, swim lessons, and after school and summer camp experiences, and it encourages social interaction among children, families, and senior adults. The YWCO is a SilverSneakers® facility.
