The A.R. “Gus” Barksdale Boys & Girls Club offers a wide range of activities, including Passport to Manhood, Keystone Club, Torch Club, Global Girls (G.E.M.S), and Wellness Wednesday Program for teens. Members can also take part in Basic Cosmetology for teens, the Youth Employment Program for members ages 14–18, Money Matters, S.T.E.A.M activities, and Power Hour–Geer. The club includes sports such as Flag Football, Basketball, All Sports (Flag Football, Soccer, Basketball, and Volleyball), as well as Garden Club–Ultimate Journey–Camp Kiwanis and Performing Arts Clubs featuring Dance, Poetry, and Hip Hop Dance.

The A.R. “Gus” Barksdale Boys & Girls Club is led by Executive Director Terry Walker-Moore.
