Team 3 After School Program

Team 3 After School Program offers a wide range of activities, including Wrestling Academy, the Intentionally Great Track & Field Program, and a Spanish Immersion Program. Students take part in homework assistance, affordable tutoring, sports activities, daily enrichment, hands-on projects, creative arts, STEM challenges, leadership activities, academic math enrichment, reading enrichment, collaborative challenges, and interactive experiences. The program also includes Bible-Based Character Education, public speaking, life skills classes, activities that embrace and explore cultures, and physical fitness fun and art fun under its Academic Enrichment and S.T.E.M focus.

• Ages: 3–13 years old
• Schedule: Serving grades PreK3–8th during the hours of 2:10pm–6:30pm
• Schedule: Serving Rockdale and Newton Counties for all school breaks (except the actual major holidays)

The mission of Team 3 After School Program is to provide an environment that is conducive for learning and encourages curiosity, exploration, problem solving, and self-expression, and to assist children with developing a positive self-image through developing an appreciation for good health and fitness through sports and play. The program’s aim is to assist in the development of self-esteem and self-confidence, with a focus on setting and accomplishing goals so that children can learn how to master this. Team 3 ASP stands on the foundation of unity and encourages and supports involvement of the family and the community. The leadership team includes Co-Founders Thea Dennard and Ivory Dennard, Director Aisling Threets, Assistant Director Destiny Paige, and Lead Teachers En'Rique Denson, Gregory Lockett, Bernice Pearl, and Arianna Waller.

Team 3 ASP serves Rockdale and Newton Counties for all school breaks (except the actual major holidays), with Team 3 School Break Camp following the academic schedules of Rockdale and Newton Counties for school breaks and teacher workdays. Team 3 School Break Camp includes an academic enrichment curriculum that connects with themes and field trips, and summer campers travel through eight decades from the 1920s to the 1990s. The program states that staff are dedicated to the academic, physical, and mental health of students, with activities that address growth and development in each of these areas.
