The Taylor Made Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that assists underserved families and communities of the Metro-Atlanta area and focuses on transforming the lives of individuals through education, personal and professional development, and volunteerism. Its mission is to strengthen and unify the community by reshaping the lives of youth and adults through education, personal and professional development, and volunteerism. The organization has been founded for 7 years and has served 500 students and families.

Taylor Made University provides college-bound high school teens with mentorship and education in health and wellness, financial literacy, pre-collegiate training, career coaching, STEM, and entrepreneurship. TMU Pathways provides structured, positive intervention for students in grades 8–12 and includes intake and goal planning with orientation, a baseline survey, and a written success plan; weekly workshops led by trained mentors and community partners; 1:1 mentorship; service hours; and progress tracking with reports for the court and families.

The leadership team includes Darnell Taylor (Founder and Executive Director); Greta Heard (Director of Finance); Omeika Gibbons-Paton (Secretary); Zayvion Sheppard (Member); Chanci Shy (Director of Community Engagement); Danielle Jones (Member); Dwayaa Ward (Member); and Doris Hardeman (Member). Staff credentials include experience in information technology with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, banking and consumer lending, medical administration and mental health support, student leadership and political science, business administration, nursing, public relations, nonprofit partnerships, education and school counseling, and licensed cosmetology instruction with a focus on hair extensions.

The Taylor Made Foundation, Inc. supports teens in their journeys throughout high school and college so that they can become contributing, successful members of their respective communities. The organization is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of underserved teens and families and advances the lives of youth and families in the Metro Atlanta area. TMU Pathways includes service hours with projects that give back to the community, and board and staff members are involved in local schools, community organizations, monthly bingo nights for seniors, and various boards and committees, including those focused on membership, educational development, programming, and supporting women of color with uterine fibroids.
