WildeWood Farm Camps and Riding Programs operates together with The Mane Event Equine Therapy, Inc., which is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The farm is run by three generations of farmers, and its current property includes new arenas, programs, and opportunities for education and connection. WildeWood Farm riders and horses have competed at local, regional, and national levels.

The program is led by founder Hannah Zapletal, who assumed leadership of The Mane Event Equine Therapy, Inc. in 2018. Hannah completed the Monty Roberts Certified Instructor Program in 2000, completed the E3A Certified Equine Facilitator Course in 2018, and graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Reinhardt University.

WildeWood Farm started in 1996, and Hannah’s parents served full-time in Haiti from 1972 to 1993. The Mane Event Equine Therapy, Inc. continues educational outreach to Haiti by sending children to school and offers Forsyth County community service partnerships. WildeWood Farm has been voted “Best in Forsyth” from 2021 through 2026 as Best place for kids to have fun, Best stable, and Best equestrian.

Self-guided farm visits include walking along fence lines, seeing animals over the fence, and taking photos, with visitors asked to stay outside fences, not feed or pet horses, supervise kids, and not bring dogs; donations are appreciated to support animal care, and visitors are asked to contact the farm before coming to receive parking details. Camp registration uses the Sawyer platform, and an Early Bird Discount is available for camp registration if registered by March 31, 2026.

Parent reviews describe birthday parties at the farm as a “huge success” with children “still talking about it days later,” and mention that the farm is “beautiful” with “gentle, friendly” animals. Other reviews note “super fun camps,” lessons “for many levels,” and a “very supportive environment” with “great communication” and “very friendly people.” Several parents mention their children gaining confidence, making friends, and wanting to return for lessons, camps, and parties.
