Dahlonega Country Day Academy

Dahlonega Country Day Academy offers homework time, snack, play with fun games, and arts and crafts. The program also includes a variety of field trips and a full-service summer program with field trips that are described as exciting, adventurous, and educational.

Locally owned and operated for almost 20 years, Dahlonega Country Day Academy is a full-service preschool with age-appropriate playgrounds and a Baby Cottage infant program in a home-like setting. The program offers an elite Georgia Pre-K program, an afterschool program for kindergarten through 5th grade, and a full-service summer program. Each lead teacher in the Georgia Pre-K classrooms has a Bachelor’s Degree, and each assistant teacher has a CDA, TCC, or Paraprofessional certification. All classes have at least two teachers in every class, every day, and the program maintains low teacher-student ratios. Dahlonega Country Day Academy is a CAPS provider and a THREE STAR QUALITY RATED SCHOOL. The school states that its goal is to establish a strong foundation for each child's educational development and that it strives to honor God in all that it does. The program notes that it has several military wives as teachers and that it considers it an honor to have the opportunity to serve military families.
