Spruill Youth Classes and Camps

Spruill Youth Classes and Camps offers hands-on art experiences that include painting, drawing, ceramics, glass art, photography, blacksmithing, and woodworking. The program is part of Spruill Center for the Arts, which offers classes and workshops, events, and fine art exhibitions.

The Spruill Center for the Arts states that its mission is to provide access to the arts through classes and workshops, events, and fine art exhibitions. The organization is supported in part by DeKalb County Recreation, Parks & Cultural Affairs; the City of Dunwoody; Georgia Council for the Arts; and the National Endowment for the Arts. Spruill offers scholarships for all adult and children’s classes and camps, and also has indoor and outdoor venues available for event rentals. Testimonials from participants describe Spruill as a place with a sense of community, a collaborative spirit, and a warm, friendly and welcoming environment, where students feel comfortable learning new skills and spending time being creative. Spruill Studios has opened in downtown Chamblee to provide affordable creative space for metro Atlanta artists.
