About
The Play Pad is an indoor play and activity center where children can enjoy birthday parties, day camps, summer camp, seasonal events, and special events. Activities include indoor play time in kid zones with age-designated play areas, an obstacle course, bumper karts, games, a virtual reality station with a VR rollercoaster, a bouncy house/obstacle course, and riding the go cart. The program also offers drop-off care and Parents’ Night Out.
• Ages: 0–12 years old
• Schedule: Indoor play is offered in 90-minute sessions on weekdays and Saturdays, with morning and afternoon options on most days.
• Price: One Month Unlimited Play for one child is $30 and for two children is $55, including Play Pad socks and a 10% discount on certain purchases; Play Pad socks can also be purchased for $4.
The Play Pad describes its mission as offering safe, convenient, and interactive play throughout the year in a modern and friendly facility with attentive employees focused on customer service, where kids play, learn, explore, and grow through fun-filled adventures in a safe, welcoming environment. Age-designated play areas are limited to 10 children at a time, and staff thoroughly sanitize, clean, and reset play areas between each play session and party. Special Play Pad socks are required for all play sessions, and families can bring previously purchased socks or buy a new pair on site. Membership packages are available that include unlimited play and discounts, and reservations are preferred because walk-in availability is limited.
Owner and general manager Katrina Sloan has experience as an active-duty service public health practitioner, a 1st grade teacher’s assistant, an event planner, and a mother of two boys. Drop-Off Care Director Renee Luckett is an Atlanta native with more than 20 years in management and a stated passion for children and serving the community. The Play Pad is owned and managed by South Fulton mothers, including an Atlanta native who resides in the City of South Fulton (Southwest Atlanta).
Parents who shared testimonials reported that their children, including toddlers and older kids up to about 10 years old, enjoyed the inflatables, VR and VR rollercoaster, bouncy house/obstacle course, go cart, and other activities, and they described the facility and toys as clean, with polite, friendly, and helpful staff. Several parents mentioned planning to return for events such as Parents’ Night Out and summer camp.
