About
AVPRIDE Youth Programs offers comprehensive programs that include resources, mentorship, and support to enhance academic and personal growth. The programs guide young people to make sound decisions from kindergarten to college and beyond, with a focus on empowering every child to be a productive citizen locally and globally.
AVPRIDE Youth Programs is part of an organization that has served youth in Fayette and Coweta communities for nearly 25 years. Since the fall of 1996, AVPRIDE has focused on empowering local children to thrive in a rapidly evolving global economy, and over the last 25 years it has served 5,240 youth. AVPRIDE’s mission is to empower youth to make informed and healthy decisions that result in resiliency and success as conscious, productive, and contributing societal leaders. The organization’s principles are self-awareness, confidence, advocacy, leadership, community engagement, and family support. AVPRIDE is dedicated to inspiring youth in Coweta, Fayette, and Macon counties and partners with businesses, organizations, and agencies across Georgia to address key challenges identified through local research.
