Georgia Mountains YMCA Youth Programs

Georgia Mountains YMCA Youth Programs offers activities that include an Afterschool Program, Fall Soccer, Swim Lessons, Summer Camps, Fitness Programs, Youth Sports, and an Early Learning Center. The program also holds Afterschool Open Interviews and provides Afterschool Care as part of its youth offerings.

• Ages: 2–12 years old
• Schedule: Afterschool Open Interviews on Thursdays from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on July 30 and August 6; Fall Soccer starting August 3 for ages 2–3 and August 10 for ages 4–11

For more than 30 years, Georgia Mountains YMCA Youth Programs has been strengthening families and neighborhoods. Its mission focuses on building stronger communities through programs and services that empower youth, promote healthy living, and inspire community action for all. With locations across Hall, Dawson, Banks, and Towns counties, the Afterschool Program supports busy families while giving kids chances to learn, grow, and thrive. The organization offers inclusive programs welcoming everyone, regardless of age or income, and provides over $400,000 annually in subsidies. Families can use Nationwide Access to visit YMCAs across the country, and there is an option to sign up for a 7 day free trial membership. A community storytelling initiative invites people to submit Y stories for a Y It Matters video campaign and future YMCA storytelling projects, and everyone who submits a story is entered into a drawing to win one free month of YMCA membership.
