Georgia Mountains YMCA Youth Programs offers an Afterschool Program, Fall Soccer, Swim Lessons, Summer Camps, Fitness Programs, Youth Sports, and an Early Learning Center. The Afterschool Program includes time for children to complete homework, stay active, explore new interests, and build confidence through enriching activities led by caring staff.
• Ages: 2–12 years old
• Schedule: Afterschool open interviews on Thursdays from 11:00 AM–1:00 PM on July 30 and August 6; updated pool hours starting August 3 with the J. A. Walters Family YMCA pool closed from 1:00–4:00 PM and open Monday–Thursday 6:00 AM–1:00 PM and 4:00–8:30 PM, Friday 6:00 AM–1:00 PM and 4:00–7:30 PM, with Saturday and Sunday pool hours remaining the same
Georgia Mountains YMCA Youth Programs has been strengthening families and neighborhoods for over 30 years. Its mission focuses on building stronger communities through programs and services that empower youth, promote healthy living, and inspire community action for all. The organization notes that it has convenient locations across Hall, Dawson, Banks, and Towns counties to support busy families while giving kids every opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.
