About

The Georgia 4-H Environmental Education Program teaches science in the context of the environment, using the outdoors as a classroom without walls or boundaries. The program offers a network of high-quality day and overnight educational experiences at six 4-H facilities that range from the mountains to the sea. It also complements math, history, and language arts lessons through its environmental education focus.

Since 1979, the Georgia 4-H Environmental Education Program has provided a network of high-quality day and overnight educational experiences. The program is part of the University of Georgia College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, which works cooperatively with Fort Valley State University, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and the counties of Georgia.
