The Georgia 4-H Environmental Education Program offers day and overnight educational experiences that use the outdoors as a classroom without walls or boundaries. The program focuses on teaching science in the context of the environment and also complements math, history, and language arts lessons through its activities at six 4-H facilities across the state.

Since 1979, the Georgia 4-H Environmental Education Program has provided a network of high-quality day and overnight educational experiences at the six 4-H facilities from the mountains to the sea. The focus of the program is to teach science in the context of the environment, using the outdoors as a classroom without walls or boundaries. While the focus is science, the Georgia 4-H Environmental Education Program also complements math, history, and language arts lessons.
