The Atlanta Hawks Basketball Academy includes 5-on-5 game play, group and individual skill instruction, stretching and warm-up, and a lecture focused on fundamental skills. Each camp day also features a shooting game of the day and contests or competitions by league. Participants receive professional instruction from Atlanta Hawks Basketball Development Coaches.
• Ages: 8–15 years old
• Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 9:00am–3:00pm camp days
• Price: $350 per week
The typical camp day runs from 8:30–9:00am for arrival and check-in, followed by 9:00–9:15am stretching and warm-up, 9:15–10:40am 5-on-5 and skill work, 10:40–11:40am lecture and fundamental skills, 11:40am–12:00pm shooting game of the day, 12:00–12:45pm lunch, 12:45–1:00pm stretching and warm-up, 1:00–2:20pm contests and competitions by league, 2:20–3:00pm 5-on-5 and skill work, and 3:00pm announcements and dismissal. Each participant receives an Atlanta Hawks Swag Bag that includes a basketball, jersey, shorts, drawstring bag, and water bottle. One ticket to a select Atlanta Hawks game during the 2026–2027 regular season is included with the tuition. Special appearances from Atlanta Hawks players, coaches, alumni, or Harry The Hawk may occur, depending on availability.
The Hawks Basketball Academy mission is to encourage the growth and development of the game by providing training and on-court experiences for players of every skill level, with a goal of supporting positive benefits through basketball by emphasizing teamwork, sportsmanship, hard work, and having fun. The Atlanta Hawks report 50,000 kids impacted, 5,800 Hawks At Home participants, and 100 days of basketball programming. The organization states that it aligns its foundation, corporate and community partners, employees, and Hawks players to make a positive impact in the local community through various efforts and initiatives.
