About

Neely Farm Mighty Mallards Swim Team offers competitive swimming, a swim program for kids ages 6 and under, and an Exhibition Swim at the last home meet of the season. The program includes work on water safety, proper stroke technique for freestyle and backstroke, and coaching on strokes, starts, and turns. The Ducklings program helps kids work toward swimming the length of the pool independently, and all Ducklings participants receive a Neely Mallards Swim Team t-shirt.

• Ages: 4–18 years old
• Schedule: The Neely Farm Swim Team season runs for eight weeks, kicking off in May and wrapping up with the ASA Championship in late June, with Ducklings program practices held Monday–Thursday mornings for 30 minutes over a four-week session.
• Price: 2026 ASA Championship Fee Price: $25.00 (non-refundable entry fee for 2026 ASA Championship); Ducklings program registration fees: $125 per swimmer plus ASA fees.

The Neely Ducklings swim program is for kids ages 6 and under (as of May 31) who do not meet the minimum requirement of independently swimming 25 yards in under three minutes for the Neely Mallards competitive swim team. For the youngest swimmers ages 3 and 4, coaches are in the water helping them. Ducklings participants are assessed by coaches and placed into practice groups based on skill level rather than age, and the program is for kids who are already comfortable in the pool and okay being away from their parents during practice. All Ducklings participants have the option to take part in the Exhibition Swim before the last home swim meet of the season on Tuesday, June 24.

The Neely Farm Swim Team is part of the Atlanta Swim Association (ASA). Its stated goal is to help kids get into competitive swimming and improve their technique and times while having a great time, and to bring the neighborhood together as kids make friends and grow as swimmers over the summer.
