About

Learning Hive offers homework help, cooking activities such as cooking every Thursday and making Monkey Bread, and trips when the children are out of school. The program includes early education and enrichment activities with an innovative and creative, developmentally appropriate curriculum for all ages. Families receive daily reports and daily updates through the ProCare Parent engagement app, along with parent-teacher conferences to discuss developmental milestones.

• Ages: 0–12 years old

Since 2013, Learning Hive has blended a safe, cozy environment of a home with a structured educational atmosphere. Learning Hive is a community of family owned, licensed early learning and care schools that serves infants, toddlers, preschool, pre-k, after school, and camps for school age children, and offers early education and enrichment programs for children from six weeks to twelve years. The program follows a unique curriculum that focuses on developing a strong social, emotional, and educational foundation, with hands-on learning described as extraordinary and suited for “this generation of Tech kids.” Learning Hive offers flexible schedules, an open-door policy where parents are welcome to visit anytime, and nutritious homestyle meals and snacks, including dinner every evening. The staff is described as caring, nurturing, supportive, and dedicated, and the teachers are described as friendly and as providing a warm and cozy environment.

The mission of Learning Hive is to serve each family and child in a personal and specialized fashion to help sow the seeds for a lifelong love of learning. The program organizes several events throughout the year to build connections between staff, families, and the communities served.

Parents describe Learning Hive as feeling like family away from home and as a second family that has been a large part of their children’s growth and development. One parent notes that teachers make sure homework is done and help with it when needed, and that her child loves cooking every Thursday. Another parent mentions that homework help has made long work hours easier, that her child enjoys cooking Monkey Bread and loves the trips planned when children are out of school, and that new friends have made her child very happy. A parent describes the learning curriculum as amazing, private apart from GA Pre-K, and calls the hands-on learning extraordinary and “out right genius” for tech-focused children. Another parent shares that for almost four years, the Learning Hive team was like family, with staff showing unconditional care and compassion for each child.
