WPC Preschool

WPC Preschool offers weekly Chapel and Spanish as part of its regular activities. The program includes Westminster’s full-day and half-day preschool care program, weekly Chapel and Spanish, healthy morning and afternoon snacks, and a hot lunch. It also offers full-day infant care five days a week and a before- and after-school program.

• Ages: 6 weeks–12 years old
• Schedule: Open Monday–Friday with school-year preschool for children 6 weeks through four years old and summer sessions for children up to age 12; care available between 6:30 AM and 6:00 PM, with optional extended care from 6:30 AM–6:30 PM

WPC Preschool has been in operation since 1992 as a non-profit outreach program of Westminster Presbyterian Church (USA). It is a three starred Quality Rated childcare facility, is state licensed, and participates in the Georgia Pre-K Program. The program uses Creative Curriculum and is staffed by experienced teachers who set a Christian example and take a positive approach to discipline. All teachers are certified in CPR and First Aid, participate in continuing education programs throughout the school year, and have early childhood education training. WPC Preschool serves the South Gwinnett community with a before and after care program for elementary and 6th grade children and transports to and from Britt Elementary, Brookwood Elementary, and Trip Elementary schools. All children are welcome without regard to race, creed, or color. The program’s stated goals include recognizing and nurturing the needs of children in the surrounding community, viewing every child as a gift from God, offering early childhood education in a secure, nurturing Christian environment, and weaving emotional, cognitive, social, physical, and spiritual development into a “tapestry of opportunity” for young children.
