Learning Hive is a community of family owned licensed early learning and care schools serving infants, toddlers, preschool, pre k, after school and camps for school age children in Gwinnett County and greater Atlanta area. The program offers early education and enrichment programs for children from six weeks to twelve years. Learning Hive states that it is committed to serving each family and child in a personal and specialized fashion to help sow the seeds for a lifelong love of learning. Since 2013, Learning Hive has blended a safe cozy environment of a home with a structured educational essence, with caring and dedicated teachers providing a warm and cozy environment and caring, nurturing, supportive staff committed to providing a loving, safe learning environment. The program uses an innovative and creative developmentally appropriate curriculum for all ages, with a unique curriculum fostering a love of learning and focusing on developing a strong social, emotional, and educational foundation.

Learning Hive offers flexible schedules to meet family needs and provides nutritious homestyle meals and snacks, including dinner every evening. The program has an open-door policy where parents are welcome to visit the center anytime, and it shares daily reports and daily updates through the ProCare Parent engagement app. Parent teacher conferences are available to discuss developmental milestones. Learning Hive organizes several events throughout the year to build connections between staff, families and the communities it serves.

Parent feedback describes friendly teachers who take time to make sure homework is done and help with it when needed, and mentions children who love to cook every Thursday and enjoy activities like cooking Monkey Bread and going on trips when school is out. Parents also describe Learning Hive as a private program apart from GA Pre-K with hands-on learning, and say that the staff and teachers have become like a second family and a large part of their child’s growth and development. One parent notes that for almost four years, the Learning Hive team was like family, and that the staff shows unconditional care and compassion for each child.
