Kids World Learning Center

Kids World Learning Center offers daily activities that include baby signing, STEAM projects, yoga, dance, soccer, hands-on projects, experiments, cultural and creative activities, and gardening. The program includes weekly STEAM activities at no extra cost, along with yoga, dance, and soccer enrichments also included at no extra cost. Food, wipes, diapers, and more are provided by the center, and meals and snacks are prepared on site by a culinary school graduate, Chef Jamel, at no extra cost.

Kids World Learning Center is a licensed and nationally accredited child care and early education center with smaller class sizes that operate under state ratios. It is nationally accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), maintains a 3-star quality rating from the State of Georgia, and is Eco-Healthy Certified. The center uses air purifiers that eliminate up to 99% of mold, allergens, and bacteria in the air, and has restricted-access doors, secure fences around playgrounds, and closed-captioned security cameras. It is a mom-owned, parent-focused center that serves children from 6 weeks through school age and offers full-day childcare, preschool, Pre-K, and before/after school programs. Kids World Learning Center is a Georgia Pre-K tour site for the entire state and is described as the state’s most popular tour site.

Legacy teachers at Kids World Learning Center have bachelor’s degrees or CDAs and years of experience, and onsite resources include speech therapy, behavioral therapy, and parenting libraries. The center is a pro-nursing center where parents can drop in to breastfeed and also offers an information-packed e-book to help families pick a child care center. Michelle is the Owner, CEO, and Founder, and in 2005 she took over ownership of Kids World Learning Center after being given the opportunity to do so. Michelle’s stated mission was to create a program that the community could be proud of and to showcase a reputation of being the best for children and families.

Kids World Learning Center has received multiple recognitions, including national accreditation by NAEYC and a 3-star State of Georgia quality rating since 2013. Awards and honors include the 2025 Statesboro Magazine Fabulist Award, 2022 Georgia Association of Young Children Child Educator of the Year, and 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025 Best of Georgia Regional Winner from Georgia Business Journal. Community voting has recognized the center as Statesboro’s Best of the Boro childcare facility in 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021, and it has been voted Statesboro’s Leading Childcare Program. Additional recognitions include Bright From The Start honors for exceeding standards in physical activity and nutrition since 2016, a 3-Star State Accredited Quality Award Program since 2013, and earlier accreditations and awards from NECPA, the Georgia Child Care Association, the Georgia Association of Young Children, SkillsUSA, the Technical College System of Georgia, and Bright From the Start.
