Hooray Summer Camp is guided by the esp 360 approach and is part of esp’s year-round programming and family support. Camp Hooray is described as the ultimate summer destination for participants of all ages, blending fun and new experiences in a supportive, joyful environment. Camp Hooray is designed with accessibility and inclusion at its core and is described as a first-of-its-kind, fully accessible overnight camp for children and young adults with disabilities. Every participant is welcomed, supported, and paired with a dedicated buddy, and the camp maintains a 2:1 participant-to-staff ratio.

Camp Hooray is connected to a future overnight camp facility that is being designed through a partnership with the University of Georgia and Georgia Tech, where the 90-acre site serves as a living laboratory for innovative structural and landscape designs that prioritize accessibility and inclusion. esp also offers employment for adults with disabilities through Java Joy and SEEABILITY, and every item purchased through these efforts provides meaningful employment for adults with disabilities while all net proceeds go toward funding esp’s mission. SEEABILITY exists to shift perspectives by championing a world where the abilities of all are seen and celebrated.

esp reports 39 years of support and states that it exists to create transformative experiences for people with disabilities and their families, changing communities for the better. One parent, Evey, says she is amazed by the level of love and care esp shows everyone in their community and thanks esp for loving her child and everyone with all abilities. Another parent, Jamie, shares that she meets many families who have disabled children and feels understood, and that the support they receive always amazes her and goes beyond expectations. A third parent, Brandi, says that if someone asked what could make esp better, she could not think of anything except to spread it around.
