Illinois Youth Soccer Association Programs include recreational soccer, the Illinois Olympic Development Program, and sanctioned tournaments. The program also offers fun, age-specific, skill learning activities for players. In addition, it provides coaching and referee education, including USSF Coaching Courses such as 7v7 Grassroots, 11v11 Grassroots, and Club Technical Leadership Level 1.
• Schedule: Office hours Tuesday–Thursday 10am–5pm, with the office closed daily from 12–1pm for lunch; office staff work remotely and are available via email on Mondays and Fridays; the office is closed on New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and December 26–January 2.
Illinois Youth Soccer Association is a non-profit organization emphasizing education, with a mission to promote and conduct skill-based youth development programs in a safe environment that empower children, regardless of gender, ethnicity, size, ability level, or economic status, to learn skills, lead a healthy lifestyle, value education, improve their social interaction, and focus their energy into a positive outcome. The organization provides job training by offering and conducting nationally recognized coaching and referee courses and maintains a Premier Club Accreditation Program, the Illinois Olympic Development Program, and the Free Kicks With Adam & Rick e-publication library. The leadership team includes Executive Director Mary Jane Bender, Associate Director Meaghan Kinser, Director of Coaching and Coaching Education Adam Howarth, Associate Director of Coaching Marek Radziszewski, Assistant Director of Coaching Mick Galeski, and staff members responsible for marketing and communications, competitions, ODP and referee administration, tournaments, recreational leagues, Soccer for Success, inner city programs, Hispanic programs, state youth referees, and TOPSoccer.
