Studio Nafisa Camps and Classes offers drawing, sketching, painting, watercolor, oil and acrylic painting, Zentangle, patterns, geometric drawings, origami, quilling, card making, clay modeling, glass painting, paper collage, and cityscape projects with paper collage. The program also includes technical drawing classes, architecture preparation for national and international architecture entrance exams, LEGO robotics and early engineering classes and camps, robotics, Lego Engineer activities, building structures, structures and STEM-based art, and jewelry badge workshops where students make earrings, bracelets, and necklaces.

Studio Nafisa Camps and Classes follows a mission of developing and nurturing creative skills and preparing students for lifelong success through creative confidence. The program offers Art, Design and Technology options with a STEAM-focused approach where students connect visual arts with STEM disciplines, use math from school in a math-based proprietary drawing curriculum, and engage in activities that involve design, prototyping, sketching, visual communication, innovation, illustration, animated movies, and game design. Camps during school breaks and holidays include activities that combine art, craft, engineering, science, communication, and collaboration, and classes are held in small groups.

The founder, Nafisa Husain, serves as Founder and Creator in Chief and is the owner and primary driving force behind Studio Nafisa, and staff member Ms. Erin Bartolotta also teaches at the studio. Ms. Nafisa has formal education in Engineering and Art, prior corporate experience in Electrical and Software engineering, certifications in Still Life, Memory, Nature and Geometric drawings, and is a Distinguished Toastmaster, and she is described as a strong proponent of STEAM education and design thinking who has instilled creative confidence in more than 1,200 kids since founding Studio Nafisa. Ms. Bartolotta has an undergraduate degree in Studio Art and a Master’s degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages.

Studio Nafisa Camps and Classes runs a structured proprietary curriculum designed by an artist who is also an engineer. The studio offers customized birthday packages with a choice of artwork, medium, design, activities, and duration, where all guests take home their creations, and the studio can be rented for private parties. Group events are available for art badge, patch, belt loop, and pin requirements for Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, and Boy Scouts, and the program also provides after-school and art enrichment programs at schools, along with STEM and STEAM events at schools.
