About
Junior Golf Programming takes place on a championship golf course designed by architect Tom Fazio. The program is part of a facility that includes a golf shop, golf course, and practice facility with set hours on specific days of the week.
• Schedule: Golf Shop, Golf Course, and Practice Facility open Tuesday–Sunday with varying morning to evening hours
The golf shop is open Tuesday through Friday from 7:30am to 6pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 7:30am to 6pm. The golf course is open Tuesday through Friday from 8am until dusk, and Saturday and Sunday from 8am until dusk. The practice facility is open Tuesday through Friday from 7:30am to 6pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 7:30am to 6pm. The program is led by a golf staff that includes PGA Head Golf Professional Steve Gillie, along with assistant golf professionals Bill Walker, Nic Perkins, and William Walker, and Caddy Master Bob Blackston. The course has hosted eight LPGA and Champions Tour events, with past winners including Annika Sorenstam, Karrie Webb, and Hale Irwin. Architect Tom Fazio describes his approach to the course by saying, “I want people to feel that the course they're playing is something they like, so they'll think to themselves at that moment this is the only place they want to be.”
