Junior Golf Programming takes place within a full golf operation that includes a golf shop, golf course, and practice facility. The golf shop, golf course, and practice facility all close on Mondays and operate with set hours from Tuesday through Sunday.
• Schedule: Golf shop and practice facility open Tuesday–Sunday, generally from 7:30am–6pm, with the golf course open Tuesday–Sunday from 8am until dusk.
The program is led by a golf staff that includes Steve Gillie, PGA Head Golf Professional, along with Assistant Golf Professionals Bill Walker and Nic Perkins and 2nd Assistant Golf Professional William Walker. Additional golf-related leadership roles include Bob Blackston as Caddy Master and Dan Sterr as Golf Course Superintendent. The broader club leadership includes Jimmy Dziekan as General Manager and Membership Director, Jeff Maciejewski as Locker Room Manager, Joley Walgren as Private Events Director, Jaari Williams as Executive Chef, Justin Barnes as Food and Beverage Manager, and Samantha Velasquez as Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Payroll Clerk. The course has hosted eight LPGA and Champions Tour events and has long been considered a Top 25 course in Illinois. Architect Tom Fazio described his approach to the course by saying, “I want people to feel that the course they're playing is something they like, so they'll think to themselves at that moment this is the only place they want to be.”
