Education at Fermilab – Student Programs and STEM Outreach includes activities such as high school physical science field trips, Saturday Morning Physics, and MakerSpace Open Lab. The program also offers STEM outreach programs, which highlight Fermilab science through hands-on activities and demos, and are described as ideal for schools, libraries, and community events. In addition, the program includes several teacher workshops, such as Energy and Ecosystems: Prairie, Water, and Woods, Beauty and Charm – Introduction to Particle Physics, and the Fermilab Center QuarkNet workshop.

We were all so pleased with the field trip!! The docents were very knowledgeable and great with kids. Loved the 3 habitat visits + hunting for bugs.”
