KidStrong Camp offers obstacle courses, team games, movement challenges, relay races, ninja courses, and STEAM-inspired physical activities. Camp days include dynamic movement activities, box breathing, mobility work, creative challenges, hands-on activities, obstacle course sequences, Closing Ceremony practice, and an awards ceremony.
• Ages: 4–11 years old
• Schedule: Week-long camp sessions, Drop-In Day camp when available, and seasonal and holiday camps
KidStrong Camp follows a sample daily flow that can include segments such as Explore the Floor, Affirmation & Greeting, a 60-minute block called The First 60, Snack & Recharge, Kids' Choice, a Daily Challenge, Lunch, STEAM-inspired physical activities, an Obstacle Course Challenge, Closing Ceremony practice, Cooldown, and Awards, with exact timing and activities varying by day. All participants must complete a waiver before attending, doors open 10 minutes before camp begins, and all kids must be potty trained. KidStrong uses a secure check-in and check-out process through a camp kiosk where parents and authorized trusted contacts use a unique PIN for pickup and drop-off, and children cannot leave the building unless they are with a parent or approved guardian.
KidStrong Camp is led by KidStrong-certified, professional, expert coaches who are specially trained, compassionate leaders. The curriculum is based on developmental science and is guided by a group of experts, child development scientists, and coaches, and follows a Whole Child Philosophy that focuses on Strong Character, Strong Body, and Strong Mind. KidStrong is described as a science-based kids training program that builds strong, confident and high-character kids, with programming specially designed by child development experts to improve kids’ emotional, mental and physical skills, and everything is based on the Whole Child Philosophy. KidStrong is a children's fitness and enrichment program and is not a licensed childcare, daycare, or educational facility.
KidStrong was founded in 2015 and has grown to more than 160 locations serving more than 65,000 kids per week, and it celebrated its 100th center opening with franchisee Barb Volk in Plantation, Florida. The leadership team includes co-founders Matt Sharp and Megin Sharp, along with partner Lincoln Brown, who helped turn the idea into a scalable business.
