About
Camp Alotta Fun is a summer day camp where campers take part in arts and crafts, group games, sports, music, nature activities, swimming, and time on a climbing wall. The camp also includes field trips and mini-trips, with additional mini-trips planned for 7th–8th grade campers. Campers are placed in groups by grade and join in both group-specific and whole-camp activities, and camp meets rain or shine.
• Ages: 5–14 years old
• Schedule: Camp runs in sessions from 06/01/2026 to 06/05/2026, with core camp hours 9:00 am–4:00 pm and optional Sunrise (7:00–9:00 am) and Sunset (4:00–6:00 pm) extended camp; 5-day (Monday–Friday) and 3-day (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) options are available.

Camp Alotta Fun is offered for kids entering 1st through 8th grade, with specific sessions for campers entering 1st grade, 6th grade, and 7th/8th grade during 06/01/2026–06/05/2026. Campers must be entering the specified grade in the fall to participate, and participants must be enrolled in the same camp session and extended camp sessions. Campers should bring a sack lunch with a drink each day.
Several of the counselors are certified teachers or college students working toward degrees in education or recreation. The Bolingbrook Park District states its mission as providing world-class park and recreation services in a fiscally responsible manner to enhance the community’s quality of life. The Bolingbrook Park District has received the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada for 21 consecutive years and works with other agencies through intergovernmental agreements, using community-wide survey feedback from residents to guide plans and goals.
