The Gymnastics program is offered by an organization that also runs activities such as Adult Open Pickleball, 55+ Open Volleyball, Adult Basketball Open Gym, Basketball Open Gym, Indoor Lap Swim, and Indoor Parent/Tot Time Open Swim. The organization states “we make the fun happen!” as a slogan and manages and maintains 50 parks and facilities totaling 1,107 acres of land.

The Bolingbrook Park District’s mission statement is to provide world-class park and recreation services in a fiscally responsible manner to enhance the community’s quality of life. Kim Smith is the Director of Marketing & Customer Care, and a non-partisan, five-member Board of Commissioners governs the Bolingbrook Park District. The Bolingbrook Recreation & Aquatic Complex Renovation Project was completed in 2021. The Bolingbrook Park District has received the Government Finance Officers Association Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for the past 21 consecutive years, and Bolingbrook has been named one of the nation’s Top 100 Cities to Live by Money Magazine. The Bolingbrook Park District works with other agencies through intergovernmental agreements and gathers feedback through a Community-wide Survey distributed randomly to Bolingbrook households every three to four years. Pelican Harbor Indoor/Outdoor Aquatic Park is described as a year-round place for family fun with something for every swimmer, no matter the age or ability, and Central Park Spray Pad has daily hours from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and may close at any time due to weather or maintenance. The organization lists goals that include striving for 24-hour response time and making the right decisions for the right reasons.
