About

A&A Ballet International Summer Intensive includes daily dance training in ballet, pointe, men’s, partnering, variations, contemporary, character, body conditioning, repertoire, and choreography. The program also includes organized outings such as Chicago Summer Dance, concerts in Millennium Park, art festivals and street fairs, Navy Pier, Lincoln Park & Zoo, the Chicago River Walk, a trip to Oak Street Beach, Movies in the Park, a boat and/or bicycle tour, a Cubs or White Sox game, Fourth of July celebrations, and pizza night.

• Schedule: Session I June 15–July 17, 2026 (5 weeks); Session II July 20–August 14, 2026 (4 weeks); Junior Intensive July 20–July 31, 2026 (2 weeks)
• Price: Session I Tuition: $2,500; Session II Tuition: $2,100; Junior Intensive Tuition: $750; Housing Cost: $1,875 for 5 weeks on-site; $1,500 for 4 weeks on-site; $30.00 day-of registration fee, payable in cash; Activities Fee: TBD

The intensive is led by internationally acclaimed artists and former Founding Artistic Directors of the Joffrey Academy and Joffrey Studio Company, Anna Reznik and Alexei Kremnev. A&A BALLET states that it is devoted to training in strong, versatile dance techniques, as well as the development of personality, independence and artistry. Master teachers from 2016–2026 have included Susan Jaffe, Alexei Moskalenko, Carlos Lopez, Pascal Molat, Francisco Gella, Misha Tchoupakov, Isabella LaFreniere, Fabrice Calmels, Peter Stark, Philip Neal, Andrei Klemm, Gonzalo Garcia, Calvin Kitten, Anna Reznik, and Alexei Kremnev. A&A BALLET has received more than 12 outstanding program awards in 10 years, and its students have secured more than 350 full scholarships and multiple company, apprentice, and studio company positions with global powerhouse companies. Awards listed for 2025–2026 include “Outstanding School Award” (YAGP, Chicago 2025), “Outstanding Coach Award” (UBC, Chicago 2025), “Outstanding School Award” (UBC, Finals 2025), “Outstanding School Award” (YAGP, Chicago 2026), and “Outstanding Choreographer Award” (YAGP, Chicago 2026). A limited number of scholarships will be available, and supervised housing is offered at a secure on-site student residence. A&A BALLET notes that it provides students with various backgrounds and levels the opportunity to pursue world-class ballet training and that it offers a wide variety of ballet classes, professional performance opportunities, private instruction, choreography, and training for dancers ranging from age 3 to adult.
