Sean Phillips Soccer Camps offers technical training, games-based activities such as soccer tennis, small sided games, and larger sided games. The program also includes specialized goalkeeper training and a recruiting information session as part of its offerings.
• Ages: 4–18 years old
• Schedule: Half-day and full-day options, with sessions available from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon and from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
Sean Phillips Soccer Day Camp has been held each summer since 2006. It is designed for boys and girls ages 4–14, with early drop off and late pick up options available. Registration is available for the Sean Phillips Soccer 2026 Soccer Day Camp.
The Sean Phillips Soccer Summer 2026 College Prep Camp date is June 16th. Sean Phillips Soccer College Prep Camp programs are held throughout the year and are designed for high school or junior college males who have aspirations to play college soccer as well as 4-year transfer prospective student athletes. Each player receives instruction and an evaluation from members of the UIC Men’s Soccer staff as well as select additional college coaches, and goalkeepers receive instruction and evaluation from a specialized goalkeeper coach. Six players on the Fall 2025 roster were part of past College Prep Camps, and two were added to the Fall 2026 roster from the January 2026 event.
The Sean Phillips Soccer Camp Shutout Roadshow Summer 2026 will be held on June 29th and June 30th. Sean Phillips Soccer Camp Shutout Roadshows are held throughout the year and are designed for boys and girls ages 10–18 who want to receive specialized goalkeeper training in an environment that is described as proven to produce successful goalkeepers at all levels. Camp is open to any and all entrants, limited only by number, age, grade level, and/or gender. Specific drop off and pick up points are provided in confirmation packets sent via email.
University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) Head Men’s Soccer Coach Sean Phillips leads the program. He has over 25 years of collegiate coaching experience at the Division 1 level and over 25 years of coaching and operating soccer camps for players of all ages and levels. Coach Phillips’ camp staff is comprised of his UIC coaching staff, current and former players from the UIC Men’s and Women’s soccer programs, and other select Chicago area coaches. Coaches Sean Phillips and Stan Anderson have contributed to the success of male and female goalkeepers at the youth, high school, collegiate, professional, and international levels. Additional college coaches from the Division 1, 2, 3, NAIA, and junior college levels have attended past College ID Camps.
The stated goal of each program is to specifically address the need of the individual player so that they learn more about themselves and the game while growing their passion for soccer. Families are informed that UIC FLAMES® is a registered trademark of The Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois, which does not own or operate any UIC sports camps and is not overseeing, involved with, or responsible for the camp or any camp activities.
