Recreational Gymnastics

Recreational Gymnastics offers Tots'n'Training for parents and tots, Kindergym for familiarization with equipment, and boys' and girls' beginner, intermediate, and advanced classes that work on events and station training. It also offers Cheer & Tumble, which is an introduction to cheer and tumbling.

Programs

• Tots'n'Training — 18 months to 3 years (with parent) · 1 class per week (45 minutes)
• Kindergym — 3-5 (without parent) · 1 class per week (45 minutes)
• Boys: Beginner — 6-12 · 1 class per week (1 hour); Thursday 6pm; Saturday 9am
• Boys: Pre-Team — 5-12 · 2 sessions per week (1.5 hours per session); Tuesday/Thursday invite only · Enroll by coaches invitation/tryout
• Girls: Beginner — 6-12 · 1 class per week (1 hour)
• Girls: Intermediate — 6-12 · 1 or 2 classes per week (1 hour)
• Girls: Advanced — 6-12 · 2 classes per week (1.5 hours per session)
• Cheer & Tumble: Beginner — 6 and up · 1 class per week (1 hour)
• Cheer & Tumble: Intermediate — 6 and up · 2 classes recommended per week (1 hour per session)
• Cheer & Tumble: Advanced — 6 and up · 2 classes recommended per week (1 hour per session)

About the provider

CLGTC says it is a whole community and a family, and that it strives to bring athletes and families together. Its mission statement is: "Educating and training not only great gymnasts but building well-rounded young adults and athletes." The coaching staff list includes Sam Redmond, Alyssa Rich, Alexis "Lexi" Redmond, Linda Ryan, Elizabeth "Lizzie" Berg, Dennis Breit, Karen Grantham, Mary Ann Vogt, Savanna Mensching, Ashley Quinones, Emily Puccini, Dan, and DJ.

All recreational classes are set up according to ability. Competitive classes are by director recommendation only. Boys: Pre-Team enrollment is by coaches invitation/tryout. Some classes are invite only. The site includes a member login, enrollment form, insurance waiver, and contact information.
