The organization has served the community for over 65 years and is run by volunteer board members and more than 100 managers and coaches.
More than 100 coaches are required to participate in and pass the USA Baseball “A” Certification, including the Confident Baseball Coach Course, Abuse Awareness for Adults, Introduction to Pitch Smart, and Basic First Aid. All volunteers must complete Little League’s annual background check, including a nationwide criminal search and a National Sex Offender Registry search administered by J.D. Palatine. Games use professionally trained and certified umpires provided through the Fox Valley Blues Umpires Association, and the program notes having stringent pitch count and player positional rules.
