Revolution Jr.'s Volleyball Club offers competitive volleyball through travel, club, and spring season programs that include volleyball tryouts, elite-level volleyball training, and strength and conditioning training. Athletes compete in local and national volleyball tournaments, including events in the Windy City Power League and Chicago Power League. Spring Season Programs focus on learning and playing in a team environment while building volleyball-specific strength and game knowledge.
• Ages: 10–18 years old
• Schedule: Travel Program for 13U–18U runs from mid October through June with 2–3 practices per week between 6pm–10pm, Club Program for 10U–18U runs from mid October through early April with 2 practices per week between 6pm–10pm, and Spring Season Programs for 10–14U run for 8 weeks from mid April through early June with 1–2 practices per week for 90 minutes; all Travel and Club seasons include Thanksgiving (1 week), Winter (2 weeks), and Spring (1 week) breaks.
• Price: Travel Program $3,800; Club Program $2,600 for 10U–12U and $2,900 for 13U–18U; Spring Season Programs $800.
The Travel Level is for players who aim to make their school teams and pursue volleyball beyond high school while prioritizing the sport as a primary focus. The Travel Program includes at least five multi-day overnight tournaments, with common travel destinations such as St. Louis, Indianapolis, Louisville, Sandusky, Wisconsin Dells, and Orlando, and uses dedicated hotel blocks for travel or national events. Local events are defined as tournaments within a two-hour drive by car, including some out-of-state events such as Milwaukee, Rockford, and northwest Indiana.
For the 2024–2025 season, the Base Elite (Travel) Program provides 100+ hours of training and the Base Club Program provides 90+ hours of training. Travel Program teams are staffed with two coaches, including a head coach and an assistant coach. Club and Spring Season Program teams each have one head coach plus a “floater” coach who supports training across two to three teams. Programs are described as suitable for athletes who are balancing other sports and extracurricular activities.
