The program also offers Lil’ Kickers Birthday Parties that include soccer activities and games.

• Ages: 1–12 years old
• Schedule: Lil’ Kickers and Skills Institute classes meet weekly for 50 minutes; Lil’ Kickers Camp offers 3 hours per session with flexible options to register for a full week, a few days, or a single half-day session

Lil’ Kickers classes are described as carefully curated with low child-to-coach ratios and an age-appropriate curriculum, with just the right structure and coach-to-child ratio. Skills Institute classes are rooted in child development theory, use an age-appropriate curriculum, and have a player-to-coach ratio of 8:1, with 30 minutes of instruction and 20 minutes of small-sided scrimmaging in each 50-minute class. Lil’ Kickers Camp includes 3 hours of high-energy fun with age-appropriate activities for 4–10 year olds, and some locations include access to a Fun Zone inflatable playground.

Lil’ Kickers Birthday Parties include coaches who run super fun Lil’ Kickers games, party activities that are age-appropriately designed for 2–5 year olds, exclusive field time and a party area, a dedicated host staff to handle setup and cleanup, and VIP parking to make arrival and departure simple. Each facility operating a Lil’ Kickers program has gone through rigorous training. Nationwide, Lil’ Kickers has more than 130 locations in 29 states and provinces and has served a total enrollment of over 2,800,000 kids, and has been a source of fun and individual growth for over 2,500,000 kids.

Lil’ Kickers began in 1999 with the goal of building a kids’ program that was fundamentally sound and outrageously fun. The mission states that for over 20 years the program has focused on teaching important life skills through soccer, using world-renowned child development theories, child development professionals, experienced coaches, and a curriculum that introduces kids to soccer and supports social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development, as well as developing players who are good sports and good teammates on and off the field. The mission also states that the program keeps activities fun and age-appropriate, keeps evolving while staying true to its roots, believes childhood is a magical time full of possibilities, approaches everything from a developmental perspective, believes learning should be fun, and creates space for all children whether they are on the road to all-star soccer or simply want to play, with registration always open and schedules built around families.

Parent testimonials report that one child “has enjoyed this program more than any other he has been in” and that another family’s children “LOVE the imaginative games that are teaching soccer skills without them realizing it” and “look forward to soccer every week.” Another parent notes that all three of their kids “have been in Lil’ Kickers because they love it” and that they could see their children “growing in skill and confidence.”
