Woodwind Farm Riding Lessons and Camps offers saddleseat riding lessons, summer camps, days of riding, birthday parties, Girl/Boy Scout events, in-house barn shows, and special ride night events. Woodwind Farm Riding Lessons and Camps operates as a full service training facility and lesson program with two separate facilities called the School Barn and the Show Barn. The School Barn is where new riders start and is the site for summer camps, days of riding, birthday parties, scouting events, and the opportunity to purchase a riding partner. The Show Barn has an indoor or outdoor arena, hosts in-house barn shows and special ride night events, and also offers the opportunity to purchase a riding partner. WoodWind Farm is a family run and student oriented saddleseat riding facility that was established in 1980, and its philosophy on safety applies to all levels of horses as it works toward excellence through a variety of techniques and practices.
Training at Woodwind is done by Bonnie and Megan Kittredge, who have over 100 years of combined experience in the American Saddlebred industry. Bonnie Kittredge and Megan Kittredge are listed as Owner/Trainers, and Amanda Isoda is listed as Caretaker. Amanda Isoda is a graduate of William Woods University with a Bachelor of Equine Science and grew up showing and owning American Saddlebreds. Exceptions to the standard lesson hours can be made for select students based on schedule or homeschooling.
