Parent's Day Out offers music, crafts, circle time with storytelling, finger plays, and a Bible story, along with cooperative free play. Children have indoor or outdoor gross motor time, weather permitting, and receive a snack during the program. The day also includes time to create, sing, learn, and play, as well as regular diaper changes or bathroom breaks.
• Ages: 1–4 years old
• Schedule: 9:00AM to 1:00PM on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with registration for one or two days per week from August to May
• Price: Tuition is $32/day, per child, due the first week of each month, payable in cash or by check to Grace United Methodist Church
Experienced and dedicated staff provide a 1:4 ratio for one- to two-year-olds and a 1:6 ratio for three- to four-year-olds, and staff receive yearly training and certification in First Aid and CPR. Parent’s Day Out is an outreach program of Grace United Methodist Church and reflects the mission statement “We Gather in Christ, We Grow in Love, We Go to Serve.” As an Outreach Ministry of Children’s Ministry, Parent’s Day Out serves families in the Grace Church congregation, Naperville, and surrounding communities. All classrooms have changing tables and bathrooms, and children enter through a secured entrance for the children’s area.
