Naper Test Prep & Tutoring offers one-on-one support for improving reading skills, improving math skills, completing homework, and studying for tests. The program also focuses on ACT preparation, SAT preparation, mastering test-taking strategies, strengthening subject area content, managing time pressure and anxiety, and constructing and writing college essays. Students participate in an individualized, research-based learning program that uses engaging, fun, data-driven activities, and may also complete a diagnostic ACT/SAT.

Naper Test Prep & Tutoring provides academic support from kindergarten through high school and works one-on-one with students. The program’s mission is to empower students to reach their full academic potential, including achieving a desired ACT/SAT score, improving reading and math skills, doing well on a math final exam, developing good study habits, and writing an impressive college scholarship essay. A highly trained learning specialist assesses each student and creates an individualized, research-based learning program, and tutors have years of experience and education in supporting hundreds of students on their academic journey. The team reports 40+ years of teaching experience, 1,000+ students served, and 28,000 hours invested in students’ futures.
Alissa Andrew Tutoring was founded in 2012 with a philosophy of understanding each student’s unique ability and creating an individualized program that allows every student to reach his or her full potential, and the company later grew and evolved into Naper Test Prep & Tutoring. The business was established in 2012.
Parent feedback includes reports of a student earning a 24 on the ACT and crediting the tutor’s tips, calmness, and help; a child who went from being unable to read birthday cards aloud to reading every card out loud after tutoring; and a student whose ACT English score increased from 25 to 34 and reading score from 23 to 31 after working with Naper Test Prep & Tutoring.
