About
Naper Carriage Hill Swim & Racquet Club Swim Lessons offers swim lessons for children ages 3 and older. The program uses a curriculum based on American Red Cross swim skills, and swimmers are assessed at the start of each session. Swimmers must master each skill before taking an exit test for each level, and successful completion of the exit test is required to move up to the next level.
• Ages: 3–18 years old
• Schedule: Swim lessons meet four days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday) for 30 minutes, with two-week sessions that include 8 lessons per session.
• Price: Fees are $60 for a member and $90 for a non-member per child per session.
Parents are invited to watch lessons on the pool deck on the last day of each session, and on the other days parents are asked to watch from outside the pool deck. Swim lessons are offered in three sessions during the summer, with lesson times from 10:00–10:30 a.m. and 10:30–11:00 a.m. Children must be potty trained to participate, and each child must be 3 years of age by May 31 per Red Cross guidelines. Registration is first come, first served, with members given priority, and non-member registration is determined by IDPH pool guidelines. Registration requires a printed and completed paper form and payment by check made payable to Naper Carriage Hill Swim and Racquet Club, and registration is not completed without both the form and payment. Prior to May 26, completed forms and checks are mailed to Swim Lessons, PO Box 2436 Naperville, IL 60567, and after May 26, forms and payment are brought to the pool during operating hours or left in the lockbox on the building. Registration forms are accepted beginning April 17 for members and May 5 for non-members, and confirmation of lessons is sent by email beginning May 17.
