Summer Camp includes daily themed lessons, lessons on animals and pets, and learning about animal sheltering and animal behavior. Campers take part in interactions with shelter animals, training shelter dogs and cats using Positive Reinforcement Training, cleaning shelter animals' spaces, providing enrichment, and socializing shelter animals. Activities also include meeting special guests (human and animal), fun crafts, outdoor games, and other hands-on activities.

• Price: Friends for Life Camp (6–8 years old) $325; Animal Neighbors Camp (9–11 years old) $325; Active Animals Camp (11–13 years old) $325; PAWsome Manners Camp (12–14 years old) $325; Veterinary and Animal Careers Camp (12–15 years old) $350.
The Summer Camp program is offered in weekly sessions by age, including Friends for Life Summer Camp, Animal Neighbors Summer Camp, Active Animals Summer Camp, PAWsome Manners Camp, and Veterinary and Animal Careers Camp. Friends for Life Summer Camp focuses on teaching campers how to be “friends for life” with their pets and other animals, while Animal Neighbors Summer Camp focuses on teaching campers to be the best animal neighbor to pets and wild neighbors. Active Animals Summer Camp focuses on the importance of keeping furry friends active and features sports and activities shelter dogs and cats participate in to stay healthy. PAWsome Manners Camp is an animal training camp for kids focused on Positive Reinforcement Training and is taught by a Professional Animal Trainer. Veterinary and Animal Careers Camp introduces campers to many animal careers, includes hands-on experience caring for shelter animals, and all Veterinary and Animal Careers Camp campers participate in cleaning and caring for shelter animals.
The mission of the Naperville Area Humane Society is to promote the humane treatment of companion animals and create lasting human-animal bonds. The organization is a nonprofit limited admission animal shelter for dog and cat adoption, foster care, and owner surrenders and serves the western suburbs of Chicago, Illinois and beyond. Policies, dates and operations are subject to change, there is a $25 cancellation fee for cancellations 30 or more days prior to a summer camp date, no refunds are given within 30 days of the summer camp start date, and camps fill up quickly with waitlists available.
