The Academy of Movement and Music offers beginner to advanced training in ballet, jazz, and modern dance, along with other dance classes. The program also provides private music instruction and music lessons. It includes an early childhood and arts-based preschool program, as well as an ARTS Morning Camp that follows an arts-based curriculum.
• Schedule: Office hours Monday–Thursday 8am–7pm, Friday 8am–3pm, and Saturday 8:30am–12:30pm
The Academy states that its purpose is to nurture each student's unique gifts and help them reach their full potential, and that people of all backgrounds and abilities are welcomed and valued. It also states that its faculty rejoices in the progress made by each student and wants students to feel at home and to find inspiration and self-expression. The Academy of Movement and Music launched a memorial scholarship fund in the spring of 2024. It offers financial aid to several children each year so they can study dance or music or attend the arts-based preschool program. Donations to the Memorial Scholarship Fund are used for tuition discounts, waivers, and other forms of assistance for students with financial need. The Academy states that it is not a non-profit organization.
