Ovation Academy for the Performing Arts offers theater games, singing, dancing, acting, creative movement, and storytelling that lead into musical theater productions and musical theater medleys. Camps and intensives include dance training, vocal training, acting training, auditions, vocal rehearsals, choreography rehearsals, tech, and public performances.
• Ages: 5–15 years old
• Schedule: Summer options include one-week, two-week, and four-week camps, generally meeting Monday–Friday between morning and afternoon hours, plus a separate 2026 Summer Intensive with auditions, rehearsals, tech, and performances.
• Price: Seussical JR. Summer Academy tuition is $995 early bird or $1,095 after April 1; other camps range from $300 to $795 per session, with Kids Of Broadway sessions at $445, Disney On Broadway sessions at $300, Disney’s The Jungle Book KIDS and Journey of the Noble Gnarble at $500, and Peter Pan JR. and Disney’s Moana JR. sessions at $795; tickets for Encore Presents: Hadestown are $16 general admission and $12 for kids age 12 and under, and tickets to final camp performances are not included in tuition and must be purchased separately.
Ovation Academy for the Performing Arts states a mission of creating extraordinary theatre experiences in an empowering, inclusive, and enriching environment. The program has received multiple Junior Theater Festival awards between 2020 and 2026, including honors for overall festival performance groups, outstanding productions, choreography, music, showcases, and several individual performance awards. Ovation Academy is the resident performing arts company of Madison Street Theatre and notes that tuition covers teams of directors, music directors, choreographers, designers, and technicians, as well as use of the theater space. Summer 2025 included 10 weeks, 15 musical theater productions, and over 400 kids aged 5–18.
