Dottie's Art Studio

Dottie's Art Studio offers a wide range of art activities, including sketching, drawing, watercolor, acrylic painting, oil painting, crocheting, anime, whimsical creations, figure drawing from live and costumed models, clay mini creations using polymer clay, basic stitching, pet portrait oil paintings, character creation, dolls makeover, and Jr Art League classes. The studio also runs themed art camps such as Saturday camps for 5–7 year olds, The Route 66 Art Class, The Great Outdoors Art Class, Wacky World, Color My World, Christmas in July, Improve Your Drawing Skills, Figure Drawing Fun, and The Great Outdoors Art Class, along with options for adult art lessons. In addition to classes and camps, the studio offers dog and cat portraits hand painted in watercolor as Pups Portraits and More, religious works for commission, and religious fine art works available for commission.

• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: Adult art lessons are offered in 4-session packages on Wednesdays from 10–12 starting June 6 and on Saturdays from 12–2, with multiple youth camps and classes running in 4-day blocks in June and July, Saturday camps for 5–7 year olds meeting across four weekends in June, July, and August, a two-week Figure Drawing Fun class in June, and Jr Art League classes running from the beginning of September till the end of May.
• Price: Adult art lessons are $150 for 4 sessions, most camps are $120, and the Pet Portrait Oil Paintings camp is $150.

Basic Stitching at Dottie's Art Studio is taught by an instructor who is a professional costume maker for theaters in the area. Jr Art League classes include field trips, visiting artist presentations, community service, and an annual art show, and Jr Art League participants will have opportunities to join in on community service. The studio uses a wide variety of materials in camps, including oil pastels, markers, watercolor, acrylic paint, clay, and polymer clay, and the Pet Portrait Oil Paintings camp focuses on alla prima oil paintings of students’ pets.
