River Forest Community Center Programs

River Forest Community Center Programs offers Early Childhood with a developmentally appropriate curriculum and a safe and fun learning environment through play. It also offers Kinder City & After School Adventurers, Kruzin Krew Before & After School Program, Recreation Programs with craft classes, workshops, theater, and sports programs, Summer Scene, Young Voyagers Camp, Adventure Camp, Extended Care for Adventure Camp campers, and GAMETIME for recreation programming during school days off. Transportation is available to and from all River Forest Public Schools, and limited bus transportation is available before and after D90 summer school.

River Forest Community Center has served the community for 49 years. Its mission is to provide recreational, social, and educational programs that enhance the quality of life for residents of River Forest and neighboring communities.

• Extended Care — Adventure Camp campers

All children in Young Voyagers Camp must be three years old and toilet trained. There will be no refunds for days absent. No daily rates for Adventure Camp. A completed application form must be submitted prior to enrollment. All children must be pre-registered at the Community Center for Extended Care. Dates may change due to District 90’s summer school start date.
