River Forest Youth Soccer offers spring soccer and takes part in the Memorial Day parade. The program also organizes Goals for Haiti donations through uniform and cash contributions.
• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: Spring season starts April 12th.
• Price: $15.00 head fee per player to the Park District
River Forest Youth Soccer (RFYS) is a local not-for-profit organization dedicated to provide soccer opportunities to children who live or attend school in River Forest. RFYS is run by a dedicated group of volunteers who serve as Board members and coaches, and it is an all volunteer organization. RFYS is a Park District of River Forest member affiliate and is affiliated with IYSA, Illinois Youth Soccer Association. Since 2012, RFYS has supported Goals for Haiti through uniform and cash donations, and it is not an AYSO organization.
The leadership team includes Bernardo Figueiredo as Regional Commissioner and Safety/Legal Coordinator, and Brad Wallace as Treasurer and Registrar. Division coordinators include Joe Keefe for Kindergarten Boys and Kindergarten Girls, Ben Roberts for U8 Boys and U8 Girls, Brad Stanley for U10 Boys and U10 Girls, Anne Powers for U12 Boys, U12 Girls, U14 Boys, and U14 Girls, and Adam Stern as U19 Coed Coordinator. Additional roles include Trinity Casto as Secretary and Special Events Coordinator, Rich Douglass as Referee Coordinator, Rodrigo Lema for General Information, Gia Gesualdo for Social Media and Team Photos, Joe Castillo as Sponsorship Coordinator, Anna Cook for Fall Fest, Nick Nigro for Equipment/Lost & Found, and Sara Cahmpion for Uniforms & Merchandise.
