The ACE Project offers tennis, homework assistance, mentorship, academic enrichment, and social-emotional skill building. The program includes both after-school activities and additional opportunities in-class and during the summer.
The ACE Project serves up positive youth development in Black and Brown communities through tennis, education, and mentorship while fostering a more just, compassionate, and resilient society. It offers after-school programs for students attending elementary schools in Chicago, Illinois, Baltimore, Maryland, and Detroit, Michigan. The organization began by launching a tennis camp for students attending Washington Elementary School in Riverdale, Illinois. The ACE Project recruits and trains coaches and mentors from school personnel such as office staff, lunch monitors, and crossing guards, as well as parents and other adults who live in the community. ACE is a registered 501(c)3 organization.
