McElroy Hoops offers basketball skills training that includes ball handling, finishing, shooting challenges and contests, 3-on-3 play, group sessions, a shooting lab, and 1-on-1 coaching. Matt McElroy leads McElroy Hoops as a basketball trainer for all levels in Springfield, IL. He has been developing sports players into athletes for more than 20 years in the central Illinois area, with training options that cater to all levels. His coaching experience includes five years with Sacred Heart-Griffin boys basketball and 13 years with Robert Morris University men's basketball. The program uses a shooting machine called “The Gun,” which allows players to get up to 700 shots in 30 minutes, and sessions take place on full NBA-size courts.
