Woodstock United Soccer Club offers youth soccer programs that include practices, game play, Winter Play, and Crossfire SC Tryouts. Winter Play starts January 11th at The MAC, and games are played there on Sundays. Each athlete at Crossfire SC Tryouts is required to attend at least two tryout dates to be eligible for invitation and should bring water, shin guards, cleats, and a soccer ball.
• Schedule: Winter Play starts January 11th, with practices and game play starting the following week; games are played on Sundays; Academy Spring Registration opens January 1st at midnight; tryouts are organized by birth year and happen in April.
Woodstock United Soccer Club participates with the Illinois Youth Soccer Association (IYSA) to provide youth soccer programs. The club is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. The Board of Directors is an elected group of volunteers responsible for decisions, direction, and the overall well being of the club, and it holds monthly meetings that are open to the public. Leadership roles include President Collin Beck, Vice President Alex Wimmer, Secretary Kristin Light, and Director of Coaching Buffy Brasile, with the Treasurer and two Board Member positions listed as open. Woodstock United Soccer Club has a 3-year partnership with Langton Group to enhance and maintain its 20-acre soccer fields. The club’s website is under construction, with changes being made daily.
