About

The Jewish Enrichment Program (Private Tutoring Lessons) offers private tutoring lessons that are catered to each child’s individual needs. The program focuses on instilling Jewish pride and creating spiritual connections that last a lifetime through these one-on-one sessions. Every Jewish child is welcome to join, regardless of affiliation, religious observance, or prior knowledge.

• Ages: 5–18 years old

The program is led by Rabbi Levi and Sheina. It is part of Chabad at Indiana University, which is described as a vibrant hub for Jewish life where students of all backgrounds come together to celebrate, learn, and grow. Chabad of Bloomington states that everyone is welcomed as family, including children, adults, singles, couples, young and old. The organization’s mission is to create a dynamic and flourishing Jewish community through a unique approach and unconditional acceptance of every Jew, regardless of affiliation or background.

The program is affiliated with Chabad on Campus International. Chabad is described as a Jewish movement with a dynamic, yet simple philosophy, and with over 4,000 emissaries around the globe and over 200 branches on U.S. college campuses, it is noted as the largest Jewish outreach organization in the world today. Chabad at IU is described as having its “doors” open 24/7, where students can reach out at any time for individual study sessions, Shabbat meals, delicious free food, or to spend time with friends.
