Lee’s Martial Arts Youth Programs includes a Summer Camp at Lee’s where students practice techniques, play games, and spend time building confidence. Time spent at camp will be counted towards belt promotion requirements, and each student will receive a Lee’s T-shirt for camp to wear on the Friday of that week.
• Ages: 4–14 years old
• Schedule: Week of June 22nd through June 26th, with a morning session for 4 to 7 year olds and an afternoon session for 8 to 14 year olds
• Price: Before May 10th (Early Registration): Individual pricing: $100.00. Family Pricing: $100 for the first student and $50 for each additional sibling. After May 10th: Individual pricing: $150.00. Family pricing: $150 for the first student and $75 for each additional sibling.
The camp is described as the first ever Lee’s Summer Camp. The lead instructor, Mrs. Mechinus, holds a 3rd degree black belt in Taekwondo, a 1st degree black belt in Hapkido, is an Indiana certified teacher, and is first aid and CPR certified. Junior assistant Mr. R. Mechinus holds a 1st degree black belt in Taekwondo. The leadership team also includes GM Lewis, GM Curry, and Lee’s Staff. The camp is open to current Lee’s students, YMCA students, and their family.
Students can wear their TKD pants and a T-shirt, bring a refillable water bottle, and bring a healthy snack. Students need to be dropped off on time and picked up on time, and there will be no before and after care.
